Sure, WYA?
SURE, WYA? is a mixed-media, adult animated series following an unflappable weed courier who ALWAYS delivers.
Built like a blunt rotation, the animation cycles through different styles, representing the chaos of hustling, the ups and downs of a high, and the unique unpredictability of navigating the world while trans.

"Stoned for Christmas" is a multimedia whirlwind and a love letter to weed. Built like a blunt rotation, Stoned for Christmas cycles through a weed courier’s Christmastime deliveries with each vignette in a different style of animation. The result is a delightfully surrealist trip, one that represents the chaos of NYC, the ups and downs of a high, and the unique unpredictability of navigating the world while trans. Stoned for Christmas is Morgan Young’s debut animated short as writer, director, and producer. The short has been awarded such accolades as Best Animated Short (US) at Astoria Film Festival, Best Animation at The People’s Film Festival, and the Jury Award at Hollywood New Directors. It was also a part of the official 2025 selection of Santa Fe International Film Festival, Inside Out, GAZE, Big Apple Film Festival, and Dumbo Film Festival.

SURE, WYA? features characters from the award-winning animated short, Stoned for Christmas, which follows the Courier at Christmastime making increasingly intense deliveries in a different animation style.

Morgan YOung
Showrunner, Director, Writer
MORGAN YOUNG is a trans non-binary man of many hats. As a writer-director-producer-stoner-puppeteer, much of their work exists in the intersections of film, theatre, and music. Focused so far on original musical shorts, Talking Cat Productions is the overture of Morgan's personal passions and artistic ambitions. Exploring subjects such as sex education and trans childhood using puppets, music, and irreverent humor, Talking Cat aims to break down form and bend genre to make "difficult" stories approachable - colorful, satisfyingly, tactile, and, most importantly, funny!
TKMV STUDIO
